Photo a Day | Day One | Crystal Broussard Photography

                        I recently said a completely false statement that I believed to be true. {This is called the liar paradox, even though I'm actually a very honest person. Irony.} What I said was : "I don't have time right now." That was a lie, I did have time I just believed that I didn't because something else was more important at the time or maybe because I didn't really feel like doing anything. Either way, I was lying to myself that I didn't have the time. In fact, I actually have a lot of time during the day to do a lot of things, but I choose not to. Technically.

                     I've always wanted to start a photo a day challenge at home, but I have consistently stated 'Who has time for that!?' Well... I do. I have plenty of time to take ONE picture every day. And so, that's what I am going to do.  Here is my portrait from day one, which was technically yesterday. However, since I actually do spend the night working - I thought I'd save these blog posts for every morning. So technically, today's picture will be tomorrow's post - and so on. Anyway, without further ado - here's day one :

Admittedly, I'm not really a huge fan of this. I'm going to have to try this again without a sick baby in her penguin pj's eating a sucker. But I figured, what the hay - it's day one and the intention is to actually not put a whole lot of preparation in to the photograph, just sort of photograph things as they happen.
