{Resolutions}

So, it's that time of year again... where we all talk about our News Year's resolutions that we'll ultimately likely fail to accomplish and will use again next year.. but I think I am going to "attempt" to do some that may be attainable. So without further ado .... here are my New Year's resolutions:

1) Purchase a receipt box, a smaller/portable one, and start putting receipts in it. I can't even begin to tell you how many things I pick up for the business that at the end of the year I'm trying to find the receipt for. I'm horrible at this!!! But I'm also all for tax breaks, so I will search the depths of the earth and back for a receipt.

2) Learn Photoshop CS3 like the back of my hand. Right now, I don't use Photoshop as often as I do other editing software, I have been working for a long time on one program and I know it so well it actually renders me to use Photoshop sometimes. I typically only use Photoshop for specific things.... but I'm also aware of the possibilities I am wasting at my fingertips... so Photoshop CS3 101 you are my second resolution.

3) Set up the studio. I have a semi-finished basement with a ton of room for a studio but I have been chaotically busy this year - aside from working part-time as a photographer {sometimes up to 24 hrs a week}, I work full-time Mon-Fri 40 hrs a week at my other job. I just have not had the time and I have accumulated a WHOLE LOT of equipment. I have stuff everywhere... and it NEEDS to be contained. So I am going to put together the studio. 

4) This is just general, but applies to most of my other resolutions : Become more organized.


Okay, well I've made my statement... ::fingers crossed:: We'll see how this goes!
