This wedding was my second wedding of the season. I always allow my nerves to get the best of themselves before a large event. Wedding photography is a whole different ball park and one that I feel requires experience. This wedding is my sixth wedding, which actually isn't a lot but I feel that the gradual transformation in to a wedding photographer has been the best means of preparation for me. I admit that going in to this wedding, I was nervous as I typically am ... however, I am more than pleased with the results of this wonderful wedding. In my opinion, these photographs are among my best in wedding photography to date.

The couple for this wedding was absolutely wonderful and it was the first time where I encountered the dynamic that the bride was more calm than the groom. This is likely a wonderful balance in their relationship - Karina seems very care free and really never appeared to be stressed in the slightest, either she is very good at keeping her cool or she's just a free spirited individual who goes with the flow. Ante definitely seemed a bit more concerned with time frames, much like myself as I am an avid stickler on timelines and following the schedule pretty vigorously however ironically I also love to just go with the flow - so I think I fit perfectly between the two personalities of this couple. I remember saying to Ante at one point "You're stressing me out!" Which is completely out of character of me, but I think after that he really calmed down and just let things happen as they came along. In return, I feel they got some wonderful shots and I am truly blessed to have been a part of their day.

I cannot go without mention how absolutely wonderful the wedding party and vendors were as well. The bridesmaids especially were very helpful and kind, and those girls had lots of ideas brewing that really helped move things along. One bridesmaid helped me move a chair and bench in full get up, another cleared out a room for me in a matter of seconds ... all in all it was a very pleasant experience and the feedback generated from this wedding has been an absolute blessing. The vendors involved with this wedding have been nothing but kind and have been sharing my work with their clients and fans. It is true to say that I feel this wedding has blossomed me in to the wedding industry and I am hopeful that this will generate many more weddings to come.
