Kayla & Fred
Kayla and Fred were faced with the difficult task of choosing a photographer outside of their norm. Their family photographer ended up being due around their wedding date and had to unfortunately give them up to other locals. As a photographer, I am sure this is difficult to place a family in the hands of someone else... but furthermore for the client themselves to have to find a new photographer after they've decided on one.
Kayla and Fred were given several photographers to choose from and thankfully for me, they chose me to fill the shoes of their normal photographer. I can assure you that filling the shoes of someone else is not an easy task, it almost makes you feel like you have to work extra hard to make sure that everything is captured beautifully because not only do you have the client expecting beautiful photographs but now you have their primary photographer also hoping they end up with good photos.
Luckily for me, this was a fabulous couple and more importantly they also had a very cooperative wedding party that understood the importance of Kayla and Fred's photographs to them. I have a great deal of respect for wedding parties that make my job simple and do not place me in a predicament where I feel I need to pull teeth in order to gain the consideration of the couple who hired me. Not only that, they had photographs of upwards of over twenty people who were capable of behaving politely and listened without hazard to my suggestions on getting them beautiful family portraits.
This is the ideal wedding.
Wedding parties like this are my example to all future couples who book with me. Make sure that you keep your wedding party in check and that they remain respectful to you as a paying client to get the photographs that you paid me to be there for. I cannot begin to express enough how absolutely important it is to have cooperative and respectful personalities when I am on the job. It creates a GREAT atmosphere and always results in wonderful photographs... and more importantly, the time it takes to get the photographs is cut in half when the wedding party is respectful to the bride, groom, and myself and cooperates during their picture taking process.
Thank you, thank you, thank you... from the bottom of my heart for being wonderful to work with. For trusting me as a professional and experienced photographer and most importantly for allowing me to be a part of your day. It means SO much.
