When you know that you have just captured something that no one else in an entire room full of people was able to capture.
That's when you know that you love being a wedding photographer.
This humbles me.
This reassures me that there is purpose to my profession... that it's not just about pictures.
That's when you know that you love being a wedding photographer.
This humbles me.
This reassures me that there is purpose to my profession... that it's not just about pictures.
It's about the raw moments that make your wedding unique to you.
It's looking through the lens and seeing every aspect of your first dance...
... which is one of the most captivating moments of the day.
It's the unwinding, the 'we're here, we did it'.
It's the sighs of relief, the kisses and the specific way in which you look at one another.
That's what being a wedding photographer is about.
It's not about the perfect pose. It's not about posing at all....
It's about the REAL life moments that are happening, that we may even take for granted until we see them in a picture and they remind of us of the way something makes us feel... and even awaken all of our senses to how we felt right in that moment.
It's never JUST a photograph.
